and you know "it's only fun till someone gets hurt." (quoted by many a mother.) i didn't witness the incident, but Russ said William & Jonathon were wrestling when Jonathon started to get a bit too competitive and hit William straight in the face as hard as he could. fun over....
after some drama, crying, being sent to a room, etc. it was time for scriptures for the evening. Jonathon read first, Mosiah 4:14, 'And ye will not suffer your children that they go hungry, or naked; neither will ye suffer that they transgress the laws of God, and fight and quarrel one with another, and serve the devil, who is the evil spirit which hath been spoken of by our fathers, he being an enemy to all righteousness.'
William read next, Mosiah 4:15, 'But ye will teach them to walk in the ways of truth a soberness; ye will teach them to love one another, and to serve one another.'
well this was just screaming TEACHING MOMENT and we stopped there and talked to the boys about what it meant. Thank You Heavenly Father for giving me the teaching opportunity from the scriptures that my children could understand.

No kidding! Perfect timing. I love it when things work out like that. I hope the boys remember it!
Love it! Last night's scriptures were about obedience. Oh yeah--teaching moment!
