so my sister-in-law is amazing when it comes to decorating cakes. a few weeks ago i was asking the boys what kind of cake they wanted, we saw this dragon one and they were sold. it didn't look too hard to do so i said okay. anyway, after talking it over with erin it was decided we'd have two dragon cakes and erin would come up and help me. i got the cakes all cute out to the shapes they needed to be, frosting mostly all over them, then erin made them look like this....
they turned out great! the boys loved them and i think everyone else thought they were pretty cool too. i counted last night and we had 15 kids, 8 adults, and 1 dog there. it was a blast! william and jonathon love their cousins so much.

their cousin jerusha made them this cool pinata. after many tries and no success william & jonathon let their cousins have a turn also. finally it was syrus who broke it open. it was full of malt balls, which also broke all over the ground. it was funny!
today, the 16th is william and jonathon's actually birthday. i made them some shirts with the number 5 on them. jonathon wanted his with tiger stripes, that's when i decided not to make them the shirts. then i found this fabric i thought it would be fun. they had gymnastics this morning, donuts from our favorite bakery, got balloons, and spent some of their birthday money!

I love your blog, you are too clever to hide all those talents. I loved it the other day when you walked into church. Your family is so darling, all your boys with folded arms, shirt tucked in, belt on (what's a belt) it was just so sweet. So happy to find your blog:)
Cutest dragon cakes I've ever seen! What talent. Looks like a fun party.
Your boys are looking so grown up! I can't believe the twins are five.
