i love the smell of.....

let me start with saying how AMAZING my mother is! i have never really done a post about her because i know there are a lot of amazing people out there....my mom is definitely among the top of them! one small reason she is so great....(please don't think i'm greedy or materialistic for my reasoning.) my mom is the BEST thrift store, clearance rack, awesome deal shopper! really my kids and i stay clothed because of her! she shops for our entire family....and by entire i mean her six children, their spouses, and 20+ grandchildren. some more then others, depending on the sizing, sales, etc. and don't try to deny that she does this family....you know she does. and we should all be greateful! i'm not going to even try to total how much money she has saved us!!! yep, i told you before i am spoiled!! SO, on to the reason for this post. when my mom gives us these things most of them she washes before hand. yesturday i was wearing a black sweater she sent up and i smelled it. i love doing that with all the things she sends up. it just smells like 'home'. i've asked my mom what she washes/drys her clothes in, but it's never the same. so mom, please don't drasticly change anything you are doing...whatever it is. even though i am so very greatful for all the 'material' things you send up to us...THANK YOU for the smell in which you do so. for giving me a breath of HOME, of YOU! thanks for getting a cell phone so i can talk to you everyday....and all the times in between. wish we were like those lucky fokes who live in the same town or even the same state as their parents...even if they don't always feel so lucky! thanks for being such a wonderful grammy tammy for my boys! I LOVE AND MISS YOU!
