Jonathon and William each had to do a report on an animal and talk about them and make a diorama. They got books from the school library and brought them home so we could talk about it. i really didn't want to do them because i was just being lazy, but it turned out fun for all of us. they were due on a Friday, so that Monday we worked on putting together their diorama to look like the animals habitat. the boys went outside found rocks, stick, weeds, etc. to use. they each drew a picture of their animal then we glued and taped it all in. they looked awesome! the next morning however all the weeds and grass they picked died. obviously, it just didn't occur to me at them time that would happen. next they just colored some fake plants and put them in. on Friday when they had to take them to school and present them we added some fresh grass. then at school they got to read their report all by themselves. it was fun seeing them stand in front of their class and tell about their animals. first school project was a success.....next one coming it a few weeks is experiments. i'll probably drag my feet at this one too!

Way to go boys! They look great!
I can't believe they drew their animals by themselves! They look so good. Very impressive, boys. You've got this school thing all figured out!
