just a little tired...

after scriptures and prayers Russ reads the boys a story in their room. the other night i was so tired i just stayed sitting in the chair i was in. that was around 9 pm, i woke up at 11:45 pm. some stuff from dinner still on the table, dishes in the sink, and i could hear Russ snoring. my first reaction was could Russ have woken me up so i could at least sleep in our bed. i went to our room and i could see the laundry i was going to fold on the bed all on my side. i just assumed Russ was in bed, since i could hear him snoring away, and he pushed the laundry over. i looked closer and he wasn't in our bed. go to William & Jonathon's room, see Jonathon reading a book on the floor and William in bed, no Russ. next i check Owen's room, where i found Russ. it was such a strange night.

William and Jonathon start school in 7 days! i can't even believe it! this morning was the first day for all the other kids. the neighborhood does a cool thing. before the first day the have breakfast at the bus stop. people just bring whatever. we brought blueberry muffins, there was cinnamon rolls, pancakes, go-gurts, grapes, watermelon, etc. it was a fun way to start the first day of school. took a quick pic. of the boys before we left. i did tell them they don't get to dress like this when the are actually going to school. we also got Jonathon's haircut at a real hair cutting place. he didn't want me to cut it i guess! he even let them spike it up. we bought some gel so now he'll let me 'do' his hair. silly boy...
