on April 19, Russ' Grandpa Tweedie died. one month before he would have been 90. at the funeral a barbershop choir sang all the songs. grandpa was part of this choir for 27 years! he loved singing, for the few years i knew him he would always bust into a song out of nowhere. he was such a happy guy, fun to be around.

inside joke...the first time i met grandpa & grandpa tweedie i was taking a picture of them before we left. the sun was really bright. grandpa stood there with his eyes shut and said to count to three, then he'd open his eyes for the picture. turned out to be a great picture. so the bottom left we are trying to open our eyes big for the picture.

Wow! The Tweedie's were in our ward! Isn't Shannon Hall their daughter? Small world. It sounds like he had a wonderful funeral. He took part in the men's quartet in our ward, too, and it was always wonderful. I am sure he will be missed.
hahaha, that picture with us opening our eyes big didn't really work out too well for me.... oh well, I blame my Asian-ness :)
