for our ward christmas party this year we went ice skating. the boys have been so excited for the past month. on fridays russ tries to work a 8 hr. shift instead of his usual 10 hr so he can be home early. well today i guess was not one of those days. he ended up being there for 16 hrs. so the boys and i head to provo for the party. they were really nervous at first, especially william. after we went around once, it took us 15 minutes to get all the way around, jonathon tells me he wants to go around again to get more practice so he can get better. william needed a break, so him and own sit in the penalty box for a while. we took turn going around and sitting with owen. william kept complaining about his feet hurting and really wanting the skates off, so i grabbed his boots and he had a blast. after he said he wanted to go again. i said that i thought he didn't like ice skating, he said he liked it with his boots on. jonathon got it down pretty quick and liked to go really fast (while holding on to the blue thing.) owen thought it was fun too, but he got worried if i let go of the blue thing. he mostly had fun just watching everyone else. then santa came and the boys thought that was pretty cool too. they were really shy when they actually sat on his lap.

They are so brave. We tried to take Dani last year, and she was not convinced... not even close! Where are you guys living??
Your ward is way cool!!! Sounds like so much fun, I haven't been skating since I was pregnant with Mercy, hahaha! Know anywhere to skate here in southern AZ?
Oh how fun!! You should have called me and I could have come and helped you :) (Only because that would have been so fun!) Jon's picture is so funny! He looks like a real cool guy :)
